Organizing for Wedding Day Success

Your wedding day is not only one of the most important days in your life; it is also one of the busiest and potentially one of the craziest. One of the easiest ways to ensure that your wedding day is a success is to make sure that you have everything organized ahead of time.

Make a plan

Most brides have spent months planning their weddings. That same organizational energy that helped you select flowers, music and menus is just the way to make sure that things run smoothly on the big day. Where are you going to dress for the ceremony? How are your dress, veil and other accessories going to to get there? What other small items need to have someone keeping track of them? Taking a few moments to answer questions like these in the last few days before the wedding can ensure that you have fewer things to worry about on the day of the ceremony.

Delegate

A common mistake both for brides and for the rest of the population is trying to do everything by oneself. Most often people end up biting off more than they can chew, and this generally leads to things slipping through the cracks as they frantically try to do more than is humanly possible for one person to do in a limited time. Do not let this happen to you. Find people you can trust, and ask them for help. Perhaps your maid of honor could take responsibility for making sure the entire bridal party has their flowers. Consider asking a grandmother or aunt to bring your shoes and jewelry to your dressing room. The possibilities are endless.

While weddings are often stressful, it is easy to make yours a little more relaxed. All it takes is some advanced planning and organization.
